About Me

Welcome to my professional portfolio! I'm Anastasiya Yevseyeva, a bridge-builder between cultures and educational systems. Explore my journey in higher education administration at Syracuse University, where I'm developing expertise in creating inclusive campus environments. This portfolio highlights my commitment to fostering belonging through intentional programming and supporting diverse student populations, especially international students navigating American academic culture.

We are a dedicated team committed to crafting exceptional experiences. Our focus lies in providing reliable and innovative solutions, driven by a deep respect for quality and a genuine desire to exceed expectations.

My Mission

This portfolio serves as a resource for academic and professional audiences interested in my development as a higher education scholar-practitioner. I am dedicated to translating cross-cultural understanding into actionable support systems, strengthening student development, organizational culture, and equity-minded practice.

Creating Community at Greek Peak

My passion for building inclusive communities is demonstrated through my coordination of Syracuse University's Creating Community Retreat at Greek Peak Mountain Resort. This program fostered belonging through intentional programming and meaningful conversations across diverse perspectives. I also coordinate the Staff Mentoring Program, facilitating developmental relationships and supporting professional growth.

A Cross-Cultural Approach

Having navigated the educational system at Xiamen University in China, I understand firsthand the challenges of crossing linguistic and cultural boundaries in academic settings. Fluent in six languages, I use this skill to build trust and create spaces where people feel seen and valued. My approach is intentional, cross-culturally grounded, and relationship-centered.

"Anastasiya's dedication to fostering inclusive communities and supporting diverse populations is truly commendable. Her cross-cultural understanding and commitment to equity-minded practice make her a valuable asset to any higher education institution."
